Shipping policy

Delivery costs are not included in the price of any item unless specifically stated on the quote/invoice;

Delivery times are strictly Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00. No exceptions will be made;

In the event that a client is only able to take delivery outside the times stated above, it should be stated upon ordering of the furniture;

The client will be notified one day in advance of delivery (alternatively on the day of intended delivery should it be necessary). MATTBLACK will do everything possible to honour the arranged time for delivery; however, as this is not always possible, delivery can be done any time between 09:00 and 18:00 on the arranged date;

Deliveries outside the delivery area as specified on our website, www.mattblackdecor.com, will have to be undertaken by the client themselves, alternatively independent courier services;

Should the above-mentioned scenario apply, it is the responsibility of the client to make arrangements with MATTBLACK regarding collection of the furniture;

The guarantee period of six (6) months will only be effective if delivery/collection receipt is signed off by the client and dated;

At the time of collection of furniture, the original invoice needs to be presented by the collecting party;

The delivery fee applies only to goods delivered to the physical address provided, not to a specifically designated spot on the premises. MATTBLACK will not be held liable for any damage to furniture or other property during the process of placing furniture in a designated area;

In the event that a furniture piece needs to be dismantled in order to fit into a specific area, prior arrangements need to be made. Additional costs may be incurred should this be necessary.
